Positano, the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrentine Peninsula, the Vesuvius offer
some of the most beautiful excursions of the word. Take one of our tailor
made individual tours and experience the breathtaking panoramas, the impressive
archaeological sites, the enchanting architecture - but also one of the
best Italian cuisine, wine and delicatessen productions. The Divine Coast,
who's beauty was already evoked by the poets in Ancient Greece, can be
explored by various means: by car, by boat, public transport or - best
of all - walking on one of the countless footpaths that lead through the
fragrant Mediterranean vegetation of our hillside, away from the traffic
noise and the chaos of the main tourist areas.
We would like to propose
some tours that can be organised for you, stressing however that the listed
examples are only a small part of the possible excursions and that they
may be modified and tailor made to your specific needs.

Paestum
The Greeek Temples and the Mozzarella Manufactory
We start early
in the morning and drive directly to Paestum. The first stop is
just nearby Paestum, a visit the exclusive and animal friendly Buffalo-Farm.
Here we will see how the world known Buffalo-Mozzarella is done,
and - more important - also taste the Mozzarella made with Buffalo
milk. We will also taste other products of buffalo milk like Ricotta
(a fresh cheese), yogurt, ice-cream etc.
After a very
short drive to Paestum we will enter the site of the ruins and see
the three unique Greek Temples built in the antique Greek Colonies
named Poseidonia more than 5 Centuries Before Christ.
The drive back
to Positano follows the coastal road heading Salerno. We will stop
at Vietri, walk through this small Ceramic City, and visit one of
the oldest Ceramic factory. Here we will see the manufactory process.
We then hit Positano following the arguably most beautiful cliff
road of the World. In the program there are several possible stops,
including Cetara, the only fisher village still existing in the
Amalfi Coast. Here there is a very special restaurant where you
could eat fish cooked or marinated in a very special, unique manner.
This tour has many alternative options that can easily be explained
with our guests.

Capri Tracking Tour
The most beautiful island in the Mediterranean, already admired
by the Ancient Romans, Capri is since two centuries a popular resort
for European artists, writers and celebrities; it is a must for
all visitors.
We arrive a Capri ether by ferrybout or hydrofoil. From the harbour,
Marina Grande, we take the funicular to the celebrated "Piazzetta"
and have a tour of the ancient village centre around the little
church Santa Maria delle Grazie.
We then continue our tour on one of the most impressive and panoramic
footpaths, Via Tragara, passing beside the most famous and luxury
Capri hotels towards the Faraglioni, the landmark rocks that
reach out to the blue sea in front of the Villa built by the late
writer Curzio Malaparte.
The tour leads then in a gentle climb through a wonderful Mediterranean
Sea Pine forest, along the rocky coast, offering unforgettable panoramic
views, ending at the Matermania Cave, an impressive natural
vault, used by the ancient Romans as a luxury Nymphaeum. The path
continues to climb until the "Natural Arch", the surviving
part of a great vault, that resembles the body and the head of an
elephant.
After a well deserved rest, the tour continues towards Villa
Jovis, from where the Emperor Tiberius commanded the destiny
of the Roman Empire from 27 to 37 D.C. After the visit of Villa
Jovis we descend back to the Piazzetta.

| The Path of Gods
The name of this magnificent walk originates from its position
halfway between heaven and sea, the two places believed by the Ancient
Greek to be homes of Gods. The wanderer of the Path of Gods feels
indeed as a Greek divinity, looking down to the distressed humanity
from the silent heights of this unique heavenly place.
The path runs at an average height of 500 meters above the sea
level and offers constantly changing and breathtaking views over
Positano, the coastline and Capri on one side, Praiano, the gulf
of Salerno until the Cilento coast on the other side.
The walk can be completed in a half day. Starting from Bomerano,
it leads from east towards west above Praiano to Nocelle and Montepertuso,
the two little hillside hamlets above Positano. A pair of good walking
or tracking shoes are recommended, although there are no particularly
difficult parts in the walk, so that it can be done with children.
The path is in good conditions and well maintained and leads through
unspoiled nature of fragrant Mediterranean vegetation and wild cliffs
with deep caves. During the Summer period the walk should be started
either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
You can reach Bomerano either by bus to Amalfi and then change to
the bus to Agerola, by taxi or by private car. From Nocelle and
Montepertuso there is a regular bus service back to Positano. The
walk takes 3 to 4 hours including rest time. Alternatives include
the path down to Praiano, with the visit to the Dominican Monastery.
